Privacy notice

This notice explains how personal data submitted through the Kéke Makeup website is used and protected.

Who is responsible for your data?

Kéke Makeup is the controller of personal data submitted through this website. Use the contact details published on the Contact page for privacy requests.

Privacy requests can be sent to keke.mua.mt@gmail.com.

Information we collect

When you submit a booking request or enquiry, the website may collect your name, email address, telephone number, preferred contact method, appointment or event details, location, notes you choose to provide, consent records, and technical security information needed to protect the service. Admin authentication and operational logs are also processed to secure and operate the website.

Why information is used

Booking and enquiry information is used to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement and to communicate with you about the requested service. Administrative, fraud-prevention, security, and record-keeping activities are carried out where necessary for legitimate business and security interests. Optional marketing messages are sent only where you have chosen to receive them, and you may withdraw that choice at any time.

Service providers

The website uses service providers to host the application, store website and booking data, and deliver transactional email. These currently include Vercel, Supabase, and Resend. Information is shared only as needed to provide and secure the service. Where a provider processes information outside the European Economic Area, applicable transfer safeguards should be relied upon by the controller and provider.

How long information is kept

Personal data is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to handle requests, administer confirmed services, maintain appropriate business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. Records that are no longer required should be deleted or anonymised. You may ask whether information about you is still held and request erasure where the law permits.

Your data-protection rights

Subject to applicable data-protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and in some circumstances to receive a portable copy. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent. Requests can be made using the contact details on this website. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Malta’s Information and Data Protection Commissioner.

Cookies and local storage

The public website does not intentionally use non-essential advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies. Essential technical storage may be used for features such as theme preference and secure administrator sessions. If analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking is introduced later, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated before that technology is enabled.

Malta’s Information and Data Protection Commissioner is the national supervisory authority for data protection. If you believe your data-protection rights have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with that office.
